Now a proud American citizen, Marco is a native of Sweden .. from an island outside of Gothenburg in the southwestern part of the country. Growing up he participated in multiple sports from soccer to jiu-jitsu, javelin to volleyball.

 

As an athlete, Marco has always been fascinated with how the body functions, how it’s put together and was the go-to person for family and friends who had aching muscles.

 

After moving to the US in 2001, Marco began working for a local chiropractor as their ‘warm-up’ person helping patients necks and backs relax in order to enhance the chiropractic adjustments.

It was during this time that Marco realized pursuing massage therapy as a line of work was something he not only was very interested in, but was uniquely talented with as well (the fact that ½ the chiropractor’s patients were asking for his private business card since they were receiving as much benefit from massage as from the adjustments only served to reinforce this).

 

He realized attending massage school and building his own clientele was the right path forward. Marco finished massage school in 2004 and started with mainly deep tissue massage. As his client book grew and became more diverse in its needs, Marco pursued additional education in the area of Precision Neuro-Muscular Therapy (PNMT) as well as connecting with a diverse group of professionals in many fields, learning from them and integrating that knowledge into his assessments of every situation.

 

This has allowed him to provide much more individualized, specific treatment and is helping many of his clients find relief from chronic issues, or at the very least point them in the direction they need to go if massage is not the complete solution to their issue.
